The device uses a sterile array of ultra-fine, gold-plated hollow needles to create uniform microchannels in the superficial layers of the skin while simultaneously delivering selected ingredients. Because the Aquagold® fine touch™ channels are shallow and precisely controlled, ingredients can be placed exactly where they support hydration, repair, and surface refinement without significant tissue injury. Each needle in the Aquagold® fine touch™ device is finer than a human hair, allowing treatment to be performed with minimal discomfort and downtime compared with deeper microneedling procedures. This precision delivery approach allows carefully selected ingredients to be placed exactly where they can support skin quality and refinement, rather than relying on deeper tissue injury or generalized absorption. Treatment outcomes for the Aquagold® Dermal Infusion vary based on the infused formulation, but many patients notice smoother, more hydrated skin within days, with continued improvement as the skin responds to the delivered ingredients.

Avoid retinoids, exfoliating products, and aggressive treatments for 3 to 5 days

After Your Treatment

Avoid makeup for 24 hours

Aquagold® Dermal Infusion is an infusion device and not a standalone treatment. Depending on the ingredients infused by the device, it can help improve the appearance of fine lines, visible pores, uneven texture, and dullness by delivering carefully selected ingredients into the superficial layers of the skin through ultra-fine microchannels.
The Aquagold® Dermal Infusion treatment is generally well tolerated because each needle in the Aquagold® fine touch device is finer than a human hair. Most patients experience only light pressure or a mild prickling sensation.
Many patients notice changes to their skin’s appearance within a few days of treatment, with continued improvement over the following one to two weeks, depending on the formulation used.
Most sessions take 30 to 45 minutes.
There is little to no downtime. Mild redness or sensitivity may occur during treatment and typically resolves within several hours to one day.
Although some of the infused products like exosomes and growth factors can be applied topically by a Wellow provider following many of our treatments, Aquagold® Dermal Infusion is not recommended to be paired with other treatments.
